Audi India has been launching cars back to back. We saw the launch of the e-tron and e-tron Sportback last month. Standing by its promise, Audi India has launched yet another fully electric model in the year 2021. Audi e-tron GT is India’s first fully electric sports sedan that has been launched in two trims – GT and RS GT. 2021 Audi e-tron GT is priced at Rs 1.80 crore whereas the RS GT is priced at Rs 2.05 crore ex-showroom.

2021 Audi e-tron GT – Exteriors

Audi e-tron GT sports a very dynamic and curvy design, despite sharing its underpinnings with the Porsche Taycan. It gets a large single-frame grille on the front that is flanked by slim LED headlights. On the side, it gets beefed up haunches to accommodate the wide section tyres and Audi India is also offering various customisation options. On the back, the e-tron GT gets connected LED taillights and they lend it a very wide stance.

2021 Audi e-tron GT – Interiors

On the inside, Audi e-tron GT is draped in luxury. In the RS spec, the seats and the dash are wrapped with Alcantara leather. Talking about the equipment, we get a large central touchscreen that is complimented with Audi’s virtual cockpit. Surprisingly, Audi decided to carry on with conventional air-con controls in place of a secondary display. Audi e-tron GT and RS can seat four people in comfort, however, headroom could be an issue for tall passengers.

2021 Audi e-tron GT – Drivetrain

Both the e-tron GT and RS GT come packed with a 93kWh battery pack and twin electric motors. The e-tron GT produces 435Hp and 630 Nm of torque. The sportier RS dials up to 598 hp and 830 Nm of torque. With boost mode enabled, the e-tron GT does 0-100 km/h in 4.1 seconds whereas the RS takes just 3.3 seconds. Talking of range, the e-tron GT offers a claimed range of 500 km whereas the RS, despite offering all the added performance, has a claimed range of 481 km.

2021 Audi e-tron GT – Prices

Audi has launched the e-tron GT range at great prices. The e-tron GT is priced at Rs 1.80 crore whereas the sinister RS GT is priced at Rs 2.05 crore ex-showroom. Talking about rivals, the e-tron GT sits on the top tier of the electric vehicles space in the Indian market. However, Porsche will soon launch the Taycan that will go head-on with the e-tron GT.
