2022 Audi Q7 Facelift Launch in January

Audi Q7 has been the beloved SUV of celebrities and businessmen in the Indian market. However, Audi pulled the plug on the Q7 before the BS6 norms came in, like the case with every other SUV from the Q family. But Audi India is now posting a strong comeback and the crowd-favourite Q7 is hitting the shores in January 2022. That’s right, the 2022 Audi Q7 Facelift Launch is slated for January 2022 and bookings will open soon.

2022 Audi Q7 Facelift Launch - All Details

Audi Q7 received a mid-cycle facelift last year in the global markets with new tech and features. Talking about the exteriors first, the Q7 Facelift comes with a new octagonal single-frame grille that is flanked by sleek Matrix LED headlights. The headlights boast various LED elements along with the signature dynamic swipe indicators. Just to uplift the SUV quotient of the Q7 that otherwise looks more of a wagon, Audi has given flared wheel arches, larger rims and side body cladding to the new Q7. At the back, the Q7 Facelift gets new LED taillights that are connected with a chrome strip.

On the inside, the changes are drastic with a full suite of the best technology from Audi. The new glossy dashboard features twin touchscreens, the first one is for the media and navigation controls whereas the smaller one is reserved for air-con controls and drive mode selection. In addition to that, the Q7 gets an even better and crisper virtual cockpit with different layouts. Other changes include continuous running AC vents, a new steering wheel and more.

While the earlier Q7 was offered with diesel engine options, the Q7 Facelift will come powered only with a sole petrol engine. The powerhouse is the 3.0-litre turbo V6 that pumps out 340Hp and 500 Nm of torque. The same engine is also offered with the A8 and Q8. The engine comes mated to an 8-speed auto and Audi’s famous Quattro AWD system. Talking about the pricing, Audi India is expected to price the new Q7 under Rs 1 Crore and it will take on the likes of the BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE and Volvo XC90.
