Kia India is one of the fastest-growing carmakers in the Indian market. Kia India also achieved the fastest run to the 1,00,000 sales milestone within one year with the Seltos. Kia India is a sister brand of Hyundai and is also based out of South Korea. Kia India is currently offering three cars in the Indian market whereas others are in the pipeline. 

Kia Cars Price in India

As we stated earlier, Kia India is currently offering three cars in the Indian market that consists of two SUVs and one MPV. The Sonet is the most affordable Kia whereas the Carnival leads the range. Let’s see the price, variants and features of the Kia Sonet first.

Kia Sonet – Rs 6.89 – 13.55 Lakh

Kia Sonet shares its engines, underpinnings and equipment with the Hyundai Venue. It features bold styling, high ground clearance and 17-inch alloy wheels. Coming to the engine options, the Sonet offers 1.2-litre nat-asp petrol, 1.0-litre T-GDi petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Except for the base engines, both the engines can be had with both manual and automatic options whereas the T-GDi gets iMT in place of a conventional manual gearbox.

In terms of features, the Sonet comes offers a 10.25-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Car Play, ventilated seats, wireless charging, smart air purifier, semi-digital instrument cluster, electric sunroof, paddle shifters, Bose sound system and more. Kia Sonet range starts from Rs 6.89 lakh and goes to Rs 13.55 lakh and the variants on offer are HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX, HTX+ and GTX+.

Kia Seltos – Rs 9.95 – 18.10 Lakh

Kia Seltos is the best-selling Kia in the Indian market and it has been acing the sales chart since the launch. Kia recently also launched the X Line variant of the Seltos with some minor enhancements and a mate grey paint. Coming to the engine options, the Seltos is offered with 1.5-litre nat-asp petrol, 1.5-litre diesel and a 1.4-litre T-GDI petrol engine. All the engines are available with manual and automatic gearbox options.

Coming to the features on offer, the Seltos offers a 10.25-inch infotainment system, 360-degree parking camera, blind view monitor, ventilated seats, wireless charging, mood lighting, Bose sound system, rear sunblinds, smart air purifier, electric sunroof, powered driver’s seat and more. Kia Seltos is priced from Rs 9.95 lakh and goes to Rs 18.10 lakh ex-showroom and the variants on offer are HTE, HTK, HTK+, HTX, HTX+, GTX, GTX+ and X Line.

Kia Carnival – Rs 24.95 – 33.99 Lakh

Kia Carnival was launched in the year 2020 and it curated a new segment in the MUV space. Kia Carnival was a success with respect to brand building, if not the outright volumes. Kia Carnival is offered with a sole 2.2-litre diesel engine that only comes mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

Coming to the features, the Carnival offers multiple seating layouts, UVO connect, powered sliding doors, a dual-pane sunroof, dual-zone climate control, LED headlights and taillights, 18-inch alloy wheels and more. Coming to the price, the Carnival range starts from Rs 24.95 lakh and goes to Rs 33.99 lakh ex-showroom. Kia Carnival is offered in multiple seating layouts with Premium, Prestige, Limousine and Limousine Plus variants.

Kia Upcoming Cars in India 2022

Kia India is readying another MPV for the Indian market that will be slotted below the Carnival. The upcoming MPV is called the Carens and it will be based on the platform of the Seltos and also share the engine options with the SUV. Kia will unveil the Carens on December 16th whereas the launch will happen in the first half of 2022.
