Mahindra XUV700 Endurance Record

Mahindra and Mahindra have broken a remarkable record with the new XUV700. Breaking all previous records, the new XUV700 covered over 4,000 km in 24 hours, smashing the earlier record of 3,161 km. Four XUV700 SUVs, petrol AT and MT and diesel AT and MT, took participation in the run and all covered over 4,000 km. The diesel manual variant topped the chart with 4,385 km, followed by diesel AT clocking 4,256 km, petrol manual with 4,232 km and petrol AT scoring 4,155 km.

The record took place on the recently-inaugurated world-class MSPT testing facility of Mahindra and Mahindra. The new XUV700 has broken over 80 other records while doing the endurance run at the MSPT proving grounds. Despite the effect of heavy rains and crosswinds, the XUV700 averaged 170-180 km/h. The endurance run lasted for 24 hours with small fuel fillup and drive change stops.
