Mini India has just updated its whole range with MY2021 models that bring new features and updated styling. Currently, Mini India is offering Cooper 3 door, Cooper Convertible, Cooper JCW and Countryman. Let’s start with the smallest one that is the Cooper 3 door.


Mini Cooper 3 Door - Rs 38 Lakh

Mini Cooper 3 door is the original Mini that has grown in size with respect to oncoming generations. The new Mini comes powered with BMW’ 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that puts out 192Hp and 280 Nm of torque. The engine powers the front wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

Coming to its features, Mini is known for personal customisations and you can spec your car accordingly. It gets a digital instrument cluster, park distance control, LED headlights, LED taillights, sports seats driving modes and more. Mini Cooper is only available in a single S trim that is priced at Rs 38 lakh ex-showroom.


Mini Cooper Convertible - Rs 44 Lakh

Mini Cooper Convertible is a stylish hot hatch with a soft top foldable roof. It comes with the same powertrain as the Cooper S but the level of customisation is even better with the Convertible. However, due to the folding roof, the boot space in the Convertible model is a little compromised. It is also only available in a single trim and is priced at Rs 44 lakh ex-showroom.


Mini Cooper Countryman - Rs 40.50 - 43.90 Lakh

Mini Cooper Countryman is the four-door crossover incarnation of the Mini 3 door. It shares its powertrain and underpinnings with the BMW X1 and is currently offered with only a 2.0-litre petrol engine. The 2.0-litre puts out 190 Hp and 290 Nm of torque to the front wheels only.

In terms of features, we get a panoramic glass roof, LED headlights and taillights, digital instrument cluster, aircraft-inspired toggle switches, electric front seats with memory function and a lot more. Mini offers the Countryman in two variants - Cooper S and JCW inspired that is priced at Rs 40.50 lakh and 43.90 lakh respectively.


Mini Cooper JCW - Rs 45.50 lakh

Mini Cooper JCW is the only red-blooded hot hatch that is on sale in the Indian market. Known for its go-kart-like handling, it comes powered with a 2.0-litre petrol engine that puts out 231Hp and 320 Nm of peak torque. The power is channelled to the front wheels only.

The JCW offers a sporty interior with a ton of sporty elements including and crackling active exhaust system. Mini Cooper JCW is priced at Rs 45.50 lakh and doesn’t have any competition to go against in the Indian market.
