One of the most popular offerings from Renault, the Duster is about to get a generation change in the Indian market. With the recently launched Kiger, Renault has tapped on the hot-selling subcompact SUV space and has been going great with impressive monthly sales. Renault Cars Price in India
Renault India is currently offering four models in the Indian market, more being in the pipeline. The most affordable one is the Kwid and the flagship model is the Duster Turbo.
Renault Kwid – Rs 4.11 – 5.66 lakh
Renault Kwid was launched back in 2016 and since then, it has received multiple changes along with a mid-cycle facelift. Renault Kwid is offered with two engine options – 0.8-litre and 1.0-litre whereas the latter could also be had with a 5-speed AMT gearbox option. Renault Kwid is popular because of an exhaustive list of features and SUV-inspired styling that attracted the masses. Recently, the Kwid completed its 4,00,000 sales milestone in a span of around 5 years.
Talking about the variants and pricing, the Kwid is offered in RXE, RXL, RXT and Climber variants whereas the range starts from Rs 4.11 lakh and goes to Rs 5.66 lakh for the top-spec Climber 1.0 AMT Optional.
Renault Triber – Rs 5.54 – 8.02 lakh
Renault Triber is India’s most affordable 7-seater family MPV that offers a perfect mix of space and practicality. Renault Triber comes powered with a sole 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that puts out 72Hp and 96 Nm of torque. It comes mated to either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT. Renault Triber is popular because of its ultra modular seating arrangement as it could be a 5-, 6- or 7-seater. In terms of features, the Triber comes with projector headlights, four airbags, ABS with EBD, 8.0-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple Car Play, steering-mounted controls and more.
Talking about the pricing, the Triber range starts from Rs 5.54 lakh and goes to Rs 8.02 lakh ex-showroom. Renault Triber is offered in RXE, RXL, RXT and RXZ whereas the latter three variants could also be specced with the 5-speed AMT gearbox.
Renault Kiger – Rs 5.64 – 10.09 lakh
Renault Kiger is the newest offering from the French carmaker in the Indian market and is currently the bread and butter. Renault Kiger shares its underpinnings and engines with the Magnite but boasts a completely different styling. In terms of powertrain, the Kiger comes with a 1.0-litre nat-asp petrol and 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine. The nat-asp petrol engine comes with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT whereas the 1.0-litre turbo petrol is also offered with a CVT along with the standard stick shift.
Coming to the pricing, the Kiger range starts from Rs 5.64 lakh and goes to Rs 10.09 lakh ex-showroom. In terms of variants, the Kiger is offered in RXE, RXL, RXT and RXZ along with turbo and CVT options with some of the variants. Renault Kiger takes on the likes of the Nissan Magnite, Tata Punch, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and Honda WR-V.

Renault Duster – Rs 9.86 – 14.25 lakh
Renault Duster has now started showing its age but going strong backed by its robust fanbase. The Duster is regarded as one of the best SUVs when it comes to the perfect balance of ride and handling. Currently, the Duster is offered with two powertrain options – 1.5-litre nat-asp petrol and a 1.3-litre turbocharged petrol engine whereas the popular 1.5-litre diesel and AWD trims have been taken off the shelves.
Coming to the pricing, the Duster range starts from Rs 9.86 lakh and goes to Rs 14.25 lakh ex-showroom. In terms of variants, the Duster is offered in RXE, RXS and RXZ trim levels. Only the latter two trims are offered with the 8-step CVT gearbox mated with the turbo engine.
