- Remove the seat.
- Loosen rear tank bolts but do not remove them.
- Remove front tank bolts.
- Raise the fuel tank up from the front and insert something like a wooden block under it to hold it up.
- Mount both Tank Lift brackets to each of the tank ears and loosely install the washers and nuts on each side.
- Carefully lower the fuel tank down until the bottom of the bracket holes align with the factory tank mounting holes.
- Finally, insert the tank Lift bolt and tighten it nicely.
- Tighten rear tank bolts. And you’re done!
