Easy Installation

Installing the Harley Street 500 Tank Lift is much easier than you think. Just follow these simple steps:

1. Remove the seat.
2. Loosen rear tank bolts but do not remove them.
3. Remove front tank bolts.
4. Raise the fuel tank up from the front and insert something like a wooden block under it to hold it up.
5. Mount both Tank Lift brackets to each of the tank ears and loosely install the washers and nuts on each side.
6. Carefully lower the fuel tank down until the bottom of the bracket holes align with the factory tank mounting holes.
7. Finally, insert the tank Lift bolt and tighten it nicely.
8. Tighten rear tank bolts. And you’re done!
