The only hatchback from Honda, the Jazz aims to offer a spacious cabin while keeping dimensions as compact as possible. There is only a petrol engine on offer which is BS6 compliant. It is a fun car to drive and the CVT gearbox option makes it convenient too.
Exteriors and Car Care
This premium hatchback gets a chrome embellished grille with LED headlights, DRLs and LED fog lamps. A notable feature is an electric sunroof while the rear gets LED taillights and a signature wing. The Jazz rides on 15-inch alloy wheels and comes in 5 exterior paint colours.
It features a tall boy architecture which gives it large doors and a spacious, comfortable cabin. The chrome accents at the front and on the door handles offer a premium appearance while the sloping windshield provides a good view for the driver. The looks are getting a little outdated now and a facelift is expected in 2022.

Interiors
The dashboard design is tilted towards the driver and offers a soft touch surface. The Honda Jazz’s cabin is exceptionally spacious, one of the roomiest interiors in this segment. Even boot space is large at 354 litres.
The interior features a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment display integrating Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There is a 360-degree camera, various driving modes and automatic air conditioning. Additionally, the Jazz gets steering-mounted controls for infotainment and connectivity, a push start/stop button and keyless entry.
The cabin is filled with soft-touch materials which offer great comfort and makes the Jazz feel quite premium and versatile on the inside.

There is only one engine option for the Honda Jazz, which is a BS6 compliant, 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine producing 89 bhp @ 6,000 rpm and 110 Nm of torque @ 4,800 rpm. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual or a 7-speed CVT. The CVT variant gets paddle shifters on the steering for a sporty driving experience.
The engine has enough torque to provide brisk acceleration and the Jazz feels sure-footed through curves, undulating roads and over rough terrain. NVH levels are within limits as the engine does not get too loud when pushed hard. Around the city, the power plant is more than capable to keep the driver relaxed while remaining stable at highway speeds.
