Tata Punch Interiors Revealed

Tata Motors has been teasing small clips of the Tata Punch and revealing small details. Now, Tata Motors has revealed the Tata Punch interiors and they are very close to the HBX concept. The Punch will be offered with a full suite of new-age features. The unofficial bookings are now open and the launch could happen in the first week of October.

Tata Punch Interiors Revealed

Talking about the interiors, the layout is pinpoint similar to what was showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo. Its twin-layered dashboard is offered in black and beige colour shade and both corners get rectangular AC vents. In the middle, we get the freestanding 7.0-inch infotainment system that supports both Android Auto and Apple Car Play and iRA connect could also be on offer. We also get to see a semi-digital instrument cluster that is carried over from the Altroz.

Talking about the features, the Punch will offer automatic climate control, dual airbags, flat-bottomed steering with controls and cruise control, keyless entry with push-button start/stop, A-pillar mounted tweeters and more. What’s now also sure with the interior image is the availability of an AMT gearbox. Tata will offer the punch with the 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine with both a 5-speed manual and AMT.

Tata is also expected to offer a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine that could produce 110Hp and 140 Nm of torque. If that is offered, it will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox only. Tata Punch will take on the likes of the upcoming Citroen C3 that is also expected to come powered with a turbocharged petrol engine option. Other than that, the Punch will lock its horns with the Mahindra KUV100 and Maruti Suzuki Ignis.
