The 2022 model brings a host of changes to both the exteriors and interiors. Talking about the exterior changes first, the Q7 Facelift comes with a new octagonal single-frame grille that is flanked by sleek Matrix LED headlights.
The headlights boast various LED elements along with the signature dynamic swipe indicators. Just to uplift the SUV quotient of the Q7 that otherwise looks more of a wagon, Audi has given flared wheel arches, larger rims and side body cladding to the new Q7. At the back, the Q7 Facelift gets new LED taillights that are connected with a chrome strip.
On the inside, the dashboard layout has been updated with the latest tech Audi has on offer. The dashboard is finished in premium gloss plastics and the centre-stage is taken by twin touchscreen infotainment screens. Audi has replaced the rotary-type MMI system with all-touch based controls whereas the lower screen is reserv
ed for AC controls and drive select modes. In addition to that, the Q7 gets an even better and crisper virtual cockpit with different layouts. Other changes include continuous running AC vents, a new steering wheel and more.
Powering the new Audi Q7 facelift is going to be a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 petrol engine that churns out 340Hp and 500 Nm of torque. Thanks to the BS6 era, Audi has stopped selling diesel engines, hence, the earlier 3.0-litre V6 engine has been taken off the shelves. The gasoline engine comes mated to an 8-speed auto and Quattro AWD. 2022 Audi Q7 facelift will take on the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLE, BMW X5, Volvo XC90 and Land Rover Discovery.
